A full week of outdoor skills and adventures in a tropical paradise!

In collaboration with Earth Living Skills and Caribbean Earth Skills, our top notch instructors will guide you through the pillars of tropic survival: Fresh fruit, spearfishing, bushcraft, relaxing on the beach and sending pictures to your friends back in the frozen Northeast.

We will be staying at the home of Carmen and Matt Corradino (Alone Season 8), a sprawling rainforest 2 miles from the pristine beaches of St. Croix

Skills covered will include: Bamboo bows and craft, primitive pottery, friction fires, primitive cooking, tracking, herbalism of the Caribbean, natural fiber processing, spearfishing, wild basketry and so much more.

Food is as locally sourced and organic as possible, some coming from Carmen and Matt’s own garden. We serve a mix of comfort meals from back home and Caribbean specialties like Ital Stew.

A typical day might look like this:

7:30 am Wake up

8 am Gratitude Circle and “Sit Area”

8:45 am Breakfast of fresh fruits and local specialties

9:30 am Crafting project

11 am Games

12 pm Lunch

1:30 Head to the beach for swimming, crafting, spearfishing

4 pm Back to camp, wash up, finish projects

6 pm Dinner

7 pm Night activity

9 pm Bedtime, hang around the fire and sing songs
